Authentic Indian Food Truck & Catering

Our Story

In the early 1980s, my parents left their beloved India and came to the United States in hope of a better life and education for their only son. After moving from state to state working odd jobs, we finally settled in West Point, Georgia where my parents would manage a small hotel for the next 20 years. While my parents managed every aspect of the hotel, my mom always managed to make sure my dad and I had hot-cooked meals daily. My momma loves to feed people. It is something she has always done. Sometimes when she cooked dinner at home, she would make some extra food to give our neighbors. Other local Indian communities would reach out to momma to assist in preparing meals and even cater to specific events. She fed hundreds at a time while making very little money. Without even realizing it, momma had a potential catering business.

One day while we were prepping for a catering event, I decided to test the waters and see how receptive my non-Indian friends would be to Indian food. I began making food plates to sell on the side to our friends and neighbors - and everyone LOVED our food! I was pleasantly overwhelmed with the demand for more. Now, I am able to share with people who have never experienced the delicious food I have known my entire life.

Tha Curry Man is our way to share my momma's love of cooking with others, and allow people of all backgrounds experience the flavor of real authentic Indian food.
